Who & Why

Wear Green Initiative is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to exposing fast fashion’s true costs and empowering everyday people to shop and discard clothing responsibly through clear, research-based guides, community partnerships, and practical tools anyone can use today.

Our story
An expansive bird’s-eye view of a landfill area dominated by mounds of discarded clothing in mixed colors and materials, from bright synthetic sportswear to faded cotton shirts and patterned dresses. Among the textile waste, a few clearly labeled donation bins and a tidy corner with neatly sorted garments suggest an alternative path. Our Team
